Alexander Koutny SS09

Alexander Koutny's SS09 collection was one of a trio featured in the On|Off presents show. The construction of the silhouettes is just beautiful, creating strong yet feminine structures. I also love the colour palette, especially the shades of teal, together with the use of sheer fabrics.

I hope you'll agree that Alexander Koutny is definitely a name to look out for.

A Knit for Winter.

There's nothing I like more than a nice slouchy jumper for winter. A printed or geometric one would be perfect. Or a brown one with an animal on the front, just like the Peter Jensen jumper.

Topshop do have a lovely selection at the moment, although I wish that one (bottom right) wasn't sold out. I did however buy the jumper with pockets yesterday in a blue grey colour.

On another note, my blog is looking more neglected than ever at the moment.

A Dreamy Wander - Erin Fetherston AW08

This seems a bit out of place with all the Spring/Summer collections at the moment, and especially as I only spoke about Erin's last week, but I was reminded of this video through the screen caps in Lula Magazine.

The whole aesthetic and essence of this video for me sums up Erin Fetherston. I do however prefer the middle sequence to the beginning, with the appearance of the fairy-like creatures. The woodland backdrop is just beautiful.

& I love Zooey in this video.

Catherine Holstein - SS09.

I have developed a love for Catherine Holstein since I read her interview in a past issue of Lula.

Really like the colour palette of this collection: particularly the canary yellow and peach. White lace, along with blue and white stripes are amongst my favourites for summer.

I think this is her first runway show. Can't wait for the next.

Inspired by the sky, the collection was full of white cloud-like creations, teamed with blues and the odd hint of the peach colour you sometimes see at sunset.

The pieces are rather beautiful and something you might expect to see in a fairytale. I just love the way they seem to float...

Probably not my favourite collection of hers, but ever so dreamy.

‘These bruises? I’ll tell you. I’ve just come from a photo shoot where I had to jump naked off a fourth-storey fire escape. A fashion magazine had the idea of recreating a famous Fifties shot of a mother and child leaping from a burning New York building.

When it was first suggested I thought, “This idea is too mad, even for me.”

Then I thought about it and decided it might be a laugh. I’m not great with heights so when I got to the fourth floor I began to have second thoughts.

But I couldn’t face walking naked all the way to the ground having chickened out. So I jumped. Then I jumped again. I must have done about 50 jumps, landing on a stunt mat.

I had so much adrenaline pumping through me that I didn’t notice the pain I was in and it was only afterwards that I saw all the cuts and bruises. But I’m glad I did it. I find it hard to resist a dare.'

I know that some people find you a bit annoying sometimes. But I still adore you. I often dream about having your wardrobe. And you do look pretty damn gorgeous in Elle. (Apart from I would have probably loved it more if your hair were down)

Wow, I'm really loving Elle lately. The collection covers are beautiful and they've been treating us with the likes of Chloe, Mary-Kate and now, Alexa. Although maybe we'd like a model next month.

The Ongoing Search for the Perfect Satchel.

I mentioned my desire for a satchel at the beginning of the year, but am yet to find the perfect one. This is largely because I can't find one the right colour, shape and size with the buckle detailing and type of soft leather I have in mind.

Already browsing through the Mulberry website, I was pointed towards the Men's Bags section following a tip from Alexa Chung, and have found some possible bags that may fulfill the criteria of the perfect satchel that I seem to have I created in my head. The briefcase type bags would work really well with a long strap.

One of these bags would probably live with me for years and years to come. To me it would become somewhat of a classic piece that ages as it becomes more worn, giving it a bit more character.

If only I had around £450 to spare.

How talented this girl? Many of these photos were taken when she was only 14 (she's now 15).

I love the clever concepts behind the photographs and the props used are brilliant, with a variety of masks, old wooden doors and supermarket trolleys full with bags of carrots. I particularly like her fantasy type work and how can I not like her Alice in Wonderland inspired images?

The Bowler.

I'm starting to grow very fond of the old bowler hat. The first thing that I connect the bowler to is Charlie Chaplin but it looks rather lovely on girls too, with the likes of Iekeline Stange and Clemence Posey being amongst its representatives.

Worn with bright colours, it gives a dressing-up, slightly circus vibe. I love that patterned jumpsuit; the whole outfit is really fun. A bowler hat can also be worn to complete an androgynous outfit. They look great with a pair of skinnies and a tailored jacket. What I like about someone just adding a bowler hat to quite a casual outfit is that it's an unexpected touch.

Whose necklaces (& black nail polish) do these belong to? A bit too easy, methinks.

I've been admiring these for ages now. A bit of a textbook lesson in layering a couple of necklaces / pendants. I think it's great to have some signature accessories which you wear with almost everything - a bit like Miranda Priestly and her white Hermes scarves in The Devil Wears Prada.

I have a fan necklace which I wore with everything - wore it to death and broke it. This was replaced with my old Topshop heart necklace, which I broke the next day. I have now replaced this with a H&M gold chain necklace, which fingers crossed, won't break (well not for a while yet).

I spotted the floral pinafore dress on eBay, and from the back of the plaid pinafore (which I also found on eBay), I have a feeling that it is sort of worn back-to-front. A high-waisted skirt with braces has the same kind of effect. They both have quite a cutesy feel and I love those prints.

Dug out some not-quite-vintage Luella from the archives for you to compare and contrast.

Plaid, for me, has always had that schoolgirl vibe of the Luella collection but it's interesting to contrast this to the folky feel of this season's D&G collection. You know that I always love a bit of Luella and I still have old cuttings from this collection. I also really like the floaty D&G dresses with the added clash of the tartan tights. Looking at these collections has opened my eyes to the versatility in the way that plaid can be worn.

Poppy Valentine at asos.

My current obsession involves high-waisted floral skirts ala Swedish girls and Chloe Sevigny. I think the last 4 pieces that I've bought have been floral and 3 of them high-waisted skirts. I think I am truly obsessed and don't know what to do to cure my addiction.

One thing that's definitely not helping is Poppy Valentine at asos, which I found out about through Catwalk Queen. The label uses vintage fabrics, which I absolutely love the prints of. The colours of the top skirt together with the romantic print works beautifully, making it my favourite print. The colours are perfect for summer. I also really the shape of the skirts, with the pleating and the high-waist. There's a limited stock which makes the skirts even more tempting. I also like the floral dress, which reminds me a little of Chloe Sevigny. I again love the print.

This Fluo collection from Toy Watch seem to be a big hit at the moment. One of these will definitely brighten up your summer. Well, your wrist at least. I really like the lime green but would like to see one in hot pink (I'm not really sure about that particular shade of pink above). I could definitely see one of these going well with my multi-coloured star bracelet. However, if you're worried about these appearing all over the place and therefore losing its appeal, the Storm watch below is an alternative. It's less expensive, but still with the fluo brightness of the Toy Watches.

This collection could be described as eccentric; I found it absolutely fascinating. The inspiration seemed to be furniture and furnishings: from bookcases to grandfather clocks to curtains. Clever shapes and prints were used to great effect. The curtain pole and the picture frame particularly stuck out! There were some beautiful dresses, particularly the one Chanel Iman wore (left, second row). I also loved the superhero mask-inspired eye makeup. All this made a fabulous collection which was packed full of fun. I'm looking forward to what Scott does next.

A Sailor Dress.

For a while now, I've been scouring eBay for sailor dresses. The nautical theme has been around for absolutely ages, and I think a sailor-inspired Japanese school uniform would be a perfect translation of the trend. There are loads of costumes around, which are a little bit tacky for my liking. I'm thinking of a vintage dress with a sailor collar, or even a Navy uniform from a surplus store. I think Cassie from Skins pulls off this look perfectly - I do love her style.

The video is completely breathtaking and just perfection. I love the story it tells and the beautiful backdrop of the Icelandic landscape. 'Glósóli' means 'Glowing Soul'. The masters behind this creation are Stefan Arni and Siggi Kinski, whose artistic music videos are greatly admired. I know it's a few years old, but after watching it for the first time, I was left totally inspired. The ending gave me goosebumps.

This designer collaboration with Topshop has excited me far more than the Kate Moss collections, which I feel are very similar to the regular ranges in Topshop. The Alice McCall collection is beautiful; I like the cuts, the patterns and the general vibe of the range. It's girly but a bit edgy with some pieces giving a slightly vintage feel. Another plus is that it's quite affordable. I like the patterned skirts with the black bows and also the high-waisted skirt. My favourite piece is the one-shouldered dress which I absolutely love the shape of, and the print mixed in.

But are we? I still absolutely love them but the highstreet has now been completely saturated with Luella inspired florals. They're girly and perfect for the summer, but what about when they become 'So last season'? Will it be a trend that we end up binning completely? That's the problem with trends becoming extremely popular. Florals are more than just a trend to me, they're something that really fit into my style.

The problem with florals this summer is avoiding wearing the same thing as everyone else, and it becoming a type of uniform. I'm still looking for vintage floral pieces at the moment, to try and make my outfits more individual. I also really like some of the new Topshop floral pieces, such as the prom dress and the scribble rose lantern skirt, which is slightly reminiscent of the Spring/Summer D&G artsy theme. I love some of these variations on the floral print.

It's Fashion, Darling.

My dream is to work in fashion journalism. Don't worry, I am under no allusions. Fashion is not all about parties and glamour. It's not exactly like The Hills or The Devil Wears Prada. Fashion is a fiercely competitive industry and one in which you have to start from the bottom. I know the pay is not exactly brilliant but I guess it depends on whether I want to be part of an industry where I would be indescribably happy and have a genuine passion for, or getting a higher paid job doing something I would enjoy far less.

These are some of the decisions I will have to make and faster than I think. I would love to get some work experience working in the fashion industry because I think it would be of amazing value to me and something I would really enjoy. I just want to get stuck in. However, unpaid internships are highly sought after and at only 15 years old, where can I start building up my experience?

If anyone has any thoughts or advice, I'd love to hear.

I'm currently on a search for patterned tights and have just discovered Look from London Hosiery (I'm probably quite late in doing so). I've seen them being used in a few editorials recently including Lula Magazine. They have a huge range of tights including animal themes, geometric and my favourite: florals. There is also an assortment of colours for each pattern. Now I've just got to decide which pattern and colour I want...

Clowning About.

Whilst flicking through channels yesterday I stumbled on a repeat of The Passions of Girls Aloud. Although I'm not a huge fan of the girl band, I wanted to see Cheryl Tweedy doing street dancing (which she was actually very good at). During her course she met Tommy the Clown and the Hip Hop Clowns, a street dancing group. Not only did I enjoy their dancing, I really liked their brightly coloured outfits and especially their creative face paint. Through a Google Image search I found another Tommy the Clown circa the 1980s. All these clowns reminded me of the Miu Miu S/S 08 collection.

Alison Goldfrapp did a photoshoot to promote her new album Seventh Tree, which I've wanted to talk about for a while now. The songs are stunningly beautiful and the photos are gorgeous, with some apparent references to the Miu Miu collection with the clown and Harlequin influences.

I've just come back from Barcelona, where the weather was lovely and I enjoyed lots of sightseeing. Although not strictly related to fashion, I though I'd share with you some of the beautiful work of Gaudi. His architecture was breathtaking and really interested me. His unfinished cathedral is probably one of his most famous projects but Casa Batlló and Park Güell were really fascinating. I think the patterns and the gorgeous shapes could be easily translated into fashion.

Lula: Girl of My Dreams #6

I can't describe my happiness when I walked into Borders the other day, and found a pile of Lula magazines sitting on the shelf. I've been trying to get hold of a copy for ages and flicked through the pages with delight. From the type face to the editorials, I've fallen in love with this magazine. It's dreamy, pretty and whimsical with absolutely gorgeous shoots. The whole theme reminds me of designers such as Erin Fetherston. I'm sure many of you have seen the editorial featuring Siri, so I'll give you a taster of a few of the other editorials in this issue. There is also a stunning editorial featuring Clémence Poésy which I haven't included, for those of you who are interested.

Now I just want to get all the back issues, particularly the Kirsten Dunst issue.

Yesterday I saw a lady that reminded a little of the Etro collection. She was wearing a mismatch of patterns and was the inspiration behind this post. I love the use of pattern, especially in the middle picture. The khaki parka reminds me very much of Glastonbury-wear. I really like the use of the colours and the slight hippy-esque feel. It might be just me, but the bottom right outfit makes me think of men's wear in old photos I sometimes see.

Ha, I love what American Apparel have done with some of their best comments. I think I'll be using the one above quite a lot for my newly coveted items. Best known for their basics, I know Selina loves her AA u-neck purple dress (although attracting quite a lot of attention from wearing it). There's loads of pieces I can see fitting perfectly in my wardrobe. I've had my eye on this skirt for a while and having been creating fantasy outfits in my head with the purple version of it. I'm definitely stopping by at American Apparel next time I'm in London.

Have you ever followed someone because their outfit is so stunning and you just want to take an extra look? Well the internet makes it so much easier. I have pretty much been stalking Lisaplace for a while now; she's beautiful and her effortless outfits are incredibly inspiring. I do think that I should maybe learn some Swedish. And red bows have been cropping up everywhere at the moment, Lisa's is gorgeous.

I find myself coveting many of her clothes, with just a few being that plaid skirt, vintage floral skirt, a clock necklace and the red Topshop cardigan which I had seen in shops but didn't really want until I saw it on her (unfortunately I couldn't afford it). I love the way she can throw on an oversized t-shirt and make it look so perfect. She mixes high-street with vintage pieces. This Swedish girl is inspiring.

I find Chloë Sevigny's style extremely inspiration and it is old news that she has designed a collection for Opening Ceremony. However, I do love her designs and I think the clothing is a good reflection of her own style. There are a few quirky pieces and lots of florals. The lookbook is also stunning and provides great inspiration.

At the moment, ruffles and frills say to me femininity and romance. I would love a cream blouse with ruffles to go with my new tiered floral skirt that I bought the other day. I'm thinking perhaps a sheer blouse, a la Selina from Flying Saucer. I think the two would really work well together in the girly mood I'm in at the moment. I should really make the most of the pretty romantic trends this spring and summer because it looks like all change next autumn.

Not that I'm going to let that stop me.

Accessories: Brown Leather Belts

At New York Fashion Week, the 3.1 Phillip Lim collection was full of sophistication. (In fact, that has nothing to do with this post)

Something made dominant was the leather belt which was worn knotted. It seems this is a new trend we'll all be getting to grips with soon.

I love the brown belt worn with high-waisted skirts, but I also love it worn with feminine dresses as in Karen Walker in her Spring/Summer collection. I think the use of the looped brown belts here are perfect, especially with the floral dress.

However, this way of wearing belts is not completely new. It is very popular with the stylish Swedish girls, particularly Emma Nyren. I think her outfit choices are amazing.

New York Fashion Week has just got underway and there is literally hundreds and hundreds of photos for me to pour my way through. Always an admirer of her girly and dreamy creations, Erin Fetherston's collection entitled "Love Sprung" was once again full of innocence and romance.

Her collection featured some rather lovely peacoats and a beautiful brocade coat-dress. However, it was her dresses that caught my attention. The colour palette contained some richer autumn tones than previous seasons. One of my favourite looks is the fern-green dress which, together with the floral hairpiece, is reminiscent of romantic woodland scenes.

The theme of nature ran through the collection with vivid floral prints bringing an essence of the garden and once again, romance. Ruffles and tiers also gave a sense of this. Florals look set to feature strongly next autumn as well as this spring.

The collection was not missing Erin Fetherston's trademark mini dresses which were worn with opaques and ballet shoes. The hair was beautifully done with romantic curls giving the feeling of innocence. This collection was young and girly - something we come to expect with Fetherston.

holy inspiration, batman!

I'm talking about Luella again. Instead of doing my algebra homework. You could say I'm pretty much obsessed.

Apart from florals, the spring/summer collection also featured inspiration from Batman. I loved this added touch of fun, with the Batman masks and prints that were used in the collection.

I'm looking for my own bit of Batman to add into my wardrobe. Whilst browsing through Ebay, I came across this little shop called Angelic Temptation. The owner makes these tutus in all sorts of prints, including cartoon characters. This Batman one would be perfect for a party, worn together with a mask.

I found this guy on Crafster. This hoodie is made from a Batman bedsheet and I love it. The print is amazing. Someone make me one please. I envy his talent - a guy who sews!

I couldn't resist showing you these floral tights. The colour and boldness of the print adds an extra quirky twist to this girl's outfit. I like the way she teams them up with a pair of strong laced-up boots. Swedish girls definitely have style. She's got another one of those lovely ballerina-style high buns - how come when I try that hairstyle, I always look stupid?

Moving away from the florals, I'm looking for a new bag at the moment. Satchels are where I'm heading. I love the way you can just sling them over your shoulder or wear them across your body. They're slightly reminiscent of the schoolgirls that I used to read about in books. I'm looking for a vintage satchel, with two buckles and slightly distressed tan leather. I found quite a few on Ebay (pics above) but will continue my search until I hopefully find the perfect one.

I am aware that it is my third post in a row about florals and it probably is getting slightly repetitive to say the least. And it is probably making me seem like an obsessive. However, it seems that Topshop have taken inspiration from the Luella collection, and I couldn't quite resist showing you. I do think that Iekeliene Strange looks beautiful in their new ad campaign.

At first glance, I thought that it was a dress in the campaign but I think it's actually a mixture of two floral prints, which I really like. The tiered skirt above, that is very similar to ones in the Luella collection, is on the expensive side at £40. I think my best hope is trying to find a vintage version.

Topshop also have a nice selection of floral blouses. The middle one is probably my favourite, it slightly reminds me of the Oscar de la Renta collection. I really love the instant femininity that is given by floral blouses. These particular blouses are also too expensive for my budget - but I did manage to buy a floral blouse from H&M last weekend. Oh and this is probably my last floral post - for now anyway.

I'm sorry if you are a great hater of florals (WHY?) but I've found some more floral-related pictures to feed my habit. Thank you for the heads-up from discothequechic about the Oscar de la Renta Pre-Season collection, which was dominated by bold floral prints. The colours of the prints are gorgeous and really vibrant. I especially love the navy blouse teamed with the high-waisted skirt.

The black floor-sweeping dress was given a bit of a twist by adding the floral print at the bottom. It makes it a little more quirky. I think it exudes drama, especially through the neckline. I really like the way Oscar de la Renta used florals in so many different shapes, making the collection a really interesting one. Oh, and doesn't Jessica Stam look lovely?

Florals and More Luella Love.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Year. A trend for 2008, I think, is florals. At Balenciaga, strong florals featured on structured shapes which resembled armour. I'm not brave enough to venture into one of these outfits, nor afford it even if I wanted to! Elle are calling it, rather strangely in my opinion, "cyber florals".

There was even a jungle backdrop at Kenzo. The brightness of the flowery prints makes me feel really summery, even though it is absolutely freezing outside. The mixture of colours and boldness of the print work really well together, perfect for the summer.

Another collection which reminded me of summer holidays was at Dries Van Noten, where tropical colours were used with the floral print. There were also a mixture of patterns and prints within an outfit, some of them even clashing. Quite a bold look on the catwalk, but it could be translated down to everyday wear.

Then there's Luella. I honestly think that this has now become my favourite designer. For F/W 07 my favourite collection was Balenciaga but this coming season my favourite by far was Luella. I think I'll be talking about it a lot this year, or inspired from it. The collection was full of ditzy florals, something I love even more on close inspection.

This year, key pieces I want to buy are a floral shirt and floral dress with ruffles or tiers, perhaps vintage or second-hand. I also want to buy a pleated skirt, like the one above on the left. More of my wants to come!

1. What’s the story behind the name of your blog and your nickname?

I've always admired people who keep beautiful fashion scrapbooks, with pictures and little jottings beside them. I wanted one, but in an actual book it always failed. So this blog, in a way is my own little online scrapbook.

My nickname comes from my name, Emily. A friend started calling me Emsie, so it stuck for this blog.

2. Why did you start blogging in the first place?

I love reading other people's blogs and fancied a go myself. I really enjoy it. I've always loved fashion and wanted to develop my own style. I'd love to be involved in fashion journalism.

3. What has been your best blogging related experience? What about the worst?

I love it when bloggers link me or leave comments. I haven't actually had a worst experience yet but I guess not having enough time to post or a lack of inspiration for posts is the worst part.

4. What do you think will happen to your blog in 2008?

I don't know what will happen but I hope more people visit my blog and enjoy reading what they see. Hopefully I'll also post more and develop my style of posts.

More searching on The Urban Collection led to me finding the owl pendant necklace in the middle. It's 70s vintage by Sarah Coventry. I have to admit, I've never been a particularly big fan of owls. In fact, I have a memory of my year 2 teacher giving me a horrible little wooden owl, which seemed to have no purpose whatsoever. I wonder where that's gone now. However, these wise creatures have suddenly grown on me.

On Etsy there are loads of owl-related goodies, including lots of beautiful pendants. There are also brooches, owl print bags and t-shirts. Perhaps a Christmas gift for any wise owls out there?

After finding about The Urban Collection, I now regularly check the site to see if they have put up any new gems. I found this 80s style prom dress, which they have called 'Party'. It is described as a: "Super sassy vintage metallic black and violet bubble party dress. Circa 80s." It's fun and also a great colour, especially with the shiny effect of the material. I've always been a fan of the bubble hem but I love the pouf of this dress.

It reminded me of a Nathan Jenden dress (left) from his F/W collection in a metallic baby blue which is a great shape. I did some searching around pn Ebay and found a few dresses in a similar style, my favourite being the dress in the middle. I'd like to find a poufy-style dress in a bright pink but love the metallic ones I've found so far.

Apart from fashion, I also have a love for music. Listening to music that is, because I actually cannot sing. Anyway, I thought I'd tell you about Jose (pronounced to rhyme with dose) Vanders. She is actually amazing.

My friend Mollie, who is literally obsessed, told me about her back in the summer. Her and Ellie went to see her and I was dead jealous. Ellie is also obsessed - she draws the Jose Vander's cupcakes and birds all over her hands in biro.

Her music is simply beautiful, I can listen to it all day. The lyrics are gorgeous too. She seems like a very very lovely person also. I may ask her to do an interview for me here sometime. What I'm essentially saying is that you should listen to her music, and maybe you will fall in love with it and her too.

granny, knit me a jumper for christmas

Firstly, apologies for the HUGE lack of posts. Usual excuses.

But Christmas is exactly a month away and I'm putting together my Christmas list and letter to Santa already. I've been saving this post for a while but wanted to wait nearer to Christmas. I thought that it was now an appropriate time to post now about Christmas knits. As I write this, I'm reminded of Christmas in Harry Potter and Mrs Weasley's presents of knitted jumpers arriving on Christmas day.

Down the catwalk, we saw this trend at Stella McCartney with her oversize knits combined with the Christmas patterns. Some high street stores have also followed the trend, but in general less Christmas-sy. Topshop has had some patterned knits in, including a rather cosy looking printed cardi that I had my eye on, which I then realised my friend had already bought (isn't it annoying when that happens!)

Time to get the Wham! & co. out to get you in the mood for Christmas. Hopefully I'll post more then too.

p.s. i've mentioned the word christmas ten times in that post - can you tell i'm excited?

I love the print, and the way it pleats at the bottom. I like the way it is styled; with the chunky knit belted in and the knee high socks with Dr Marten boots.

I'm doing well today, third post in one day! This isn't really a proper post though, more of a plea. With my birthday and Christmas coming up, my mum and others have started to ask me what I want. I'd like to ask for some fashion-related books including topics such as fashion history, fashion illustration, street style, photography and even a beginner's guide to sewing/making clothes (bearing in mind I can't work a sewing machine). The only problem is, I have absolutely no idea where to start. I would love your recommendations of any must haves!

new inspiration & strapless dresses.

As you probably already know, I am a huge fan of The OC and miss it very much. Now Josh Swartz has made Gossip Girl, and I do love it (but not quite as much). I've been watching it on the internet and have found that the songs aren't as good but the world in which it is set is simply amazing. Wouldn't you just love to have an endless supply of beautiful dresses and go to glamorous parties all the time?

Jenny in Gossip Girl is the same age as me, and she is my new inspiration. She's one of the girls in the drama who doesn't have an endless supply of dresses but she can make her own. In one episode, she tries on a designer dress which she cannot afford, but she sews her own dress that is inspired from it. I'd love to be able to that - learning how to make dresses is on my to-do-list! Her outfits are gorgeous and she mixes vintage and unique pieces into her style. The yellow strapless dress is lovely and she wears another blue strapless dress which I love (but couldn't find a good picture of)!

That brings me onto the theme of strapless dresses, which Elle calls "nude shoulders". You might recognise the yellow dress above as it is the same one that Jenny wore in Gossip Girl. Jasmine di Milo also sent down the catwalk the black and white strapless dress which I love the shape of. My favourite little dress from the autumn/winter collections has to be the Stella McCartney dress that Jessica Stam modelled. I love the shape and cut of it - it's simply stunning.

Obviously, I only have a tiny budget, and I can't make my own dresses yet, so I look towards the high street. I've had my eye on this cocktail dress from Oasis for a while now, which comes in three different colours. I'd love to have all three to be honest, but love the bright colours of the pink and purple.

Crazy Viktor & Rolf.

I've been meaning to blog about Viktor & Rolf for a while now, as my friend Mollie is crazy about this designing duo. And crazy their autumn/winter 2007 show was. The models had to carry their own lighting rigs which were attached to the clothes, and they had to walk down the catwalk in clogs. Who said that modelling was easy?

The clothes themselves seemed to be inspired by the designers' Dutch background and Flemish folklore. I loved the floral prints that were used. I also liked the grey tones and mixture of fabrics in the collection which featured some lovely day wear pieces. I'd love to try and recreate the outfit on the top right - minus the clogs of course; so unpractical.

The way in which some of the dresses were clipped up made the models look like the had wings, particularly the white dress which makes her look rather angelic. I thought the pleating was rather effective in the dress on the right. Jessica Stam looks lovely in her dress; I love the berry tones and the print is gorgeous. Overall, although the clothes weren't the main talking point at first, I do really like this collection.

1920s Flapper

I must confess that I know very little, if anything at all, about fashion history. But I was watching the school play on friday night, and I absolutely loved the flapper-style dresses. In the 1920s the rise of the flappers was somewhat of a rebellion. There were drastic changes in women's clothing and their hair. Waist-lines dropped to the hips, hems started to rise, dresses became more shapeless and fringed. Long pearls, the cloche and feathered headdresses became popular. Hair was cut extremely short. It's often described as the girls wanting to be more like the boys. Girls even started to smoke, which was unheard of before.

This made me cast my mind back to the Met Costume Institute Gala earlier in the year, where there were some flapper influences. I love the shape and colour of Zani Guelmann's dress. Kate Bosworth was supporting the flapper hair which I actually quite liked. Kirsten Dunst's outfit came under much debate but I personally loved it.

Which brings me on to Kate Moss. Do we ever stop talking about her? Supporting her new fringe, she turned up at Fashion Rocks in a stunning flapper-esque dress which was inspired by a vintage dress in her own collection that she was wearing when she first met Johnny Depp. Created with Topshop it is apparently worth about £40,000 and decorated with 60,000 Swarovski crystal beads. It is on auction at the moment on Ebay, with all the proceeds going to the Prince's Trust. At the moment, bidding is at £5,500.

I don't know about you, but I definitely don't have that sort of money lying about. But I am quite inspired by this period, and may go searching on for flapper style dresses and accessories.

more balenciaga love: eco-warrior and hippy power

I really must stop talking about the F/W Balenciaga collection but I really can't help myself. I actually love it so much, definitely my favourite collection from the autumn/winter collections. Topshop have released a range called 'Eco-Warrior' but within the Balenciaga collection there are some outfits which truly make me think of the phrase. Zebra print, which is used in the dress on the first picture, I think will be a big hit this season. I think the third picture shows perfectly the eco-warrior look. Many people have talked about how Nicholas Ghesquiere managed to mixed structured jackets with more feminine, floaty skirts or dresses - so effective.

I also think there were some hippy influences. Global mix and boho-tec have been key buzz words but some of the kaleidescope effects on the dresses said to me hippy. The prints on the dresses are absolutely gorgeous, and I love the cuts.

Oh, and while browsing through the backstage photos, I came across this lady. I don't really know who she is, but I think she fits quite well with the Balenciaga collection, don't you?

How gorgeous does Kylie look? She won the Q Idol award for her recovery after her battle with breast cancer. Her figure-hugging black dress is stunning and I love the lace on the sleeves. Kylie's hair is amazing, in a Marilyn Monroe sort of style, a bit 50s maybe? The colour of her hair really suits her, and her make-up is flawless. I can't wait to hear her new songs, and more of her beautiful outfits.

More Model Watch: Diana Moldovan

There are many many gorgeous models out there right now. Alright, so that's stating the obvious but seriously, I can't keep up! Diana Moldovan is one of those models. This 20-year-old Romanian was discovered at a night club. And she has the most stunning eyes.

She's walked loads of shows both during the F/W 07-08 season, and at the moment for the Spring/Summer 08 shows. Oh I do love that Marc by Marc Jacobs dress! Diana has a look about her which I just love. I just hope we see more of her soon, hopefully in an ad campaign. But for now, there's loads of pictures of her around.

Luella Love.

I do love Luella. This new collection was not an exception. A geek theme, which we have seen in previous seasons, ran through the collection. This was integrated with influences from Batman. So now a Batman print t-shirt is sitting patiently on my (huge) wish list. Oh, and we see some more big glasses.

I loved the girly aspect; with the pretty dresses. I thought the dresses had a bit of a vintagey feel. The floral print ran through the collection and made some fabulous pieces. I particularly like the dress in the middle.

The shape of the first dress is beautiful and more yellow which makes me think that it will be a popular colour next spring. In the middle picture, I love the fun which is given by the mask and the cape. (I love dressing up!) The red dress is also gorgeous. I also really like the black dress on the end, with the Peter Pan collar. Overall, a big thumbs up to the collection.

Trend Report: Skating Skirt

At first when I saw this trend in the magazines, I wasn't sure what it really meant. Sure, I had heard of the pencil, the bubble, the midi, but I hadn't heard of this shape before. Then I realised that it was inspired by the wonderful costumes of ice skating.

This new shape was on the catwalk at Missoni and at Christopher Kane. Some interesting materials were used; leather and velvet may be a theme this season. The skating skirt is fun, flirty and girly. It is short, but I love the folds and the way it flares out.

The colour of the Danielle Scutt skirt reminds me of the bright and cheerful ones that ice skaters wear. I'm not sure about everyday wear, but it's a great statement piece, perfect for parties. I'm looking forward to trying this new shape this season.

& we all love Marc Jacobs

There were a few rumours flying around before the Marc Jacobs show, with last-minute rehearsals and the such. And with the start being 2 hours late, I think the whole fashion world knew that Marc Jacobs was going to give us drama. It turned out that it the collection was shown backwards; with Marc taking his bow first, followed by the evening gowns.

With the fairytale hats and hair pieces, it all reminded me of a make-belief world. Yes, I guess it was a bit showy, but that's what made it great. The pieces just want you to look a bit closer; they make you curious. There was a lot of craziness going on, and some stunning evening gowns, adding a lot of sparkle to the catwalk. I loved the dresses covered in flowers. The day-wear pieces were just simply Marc Jacobs through and through.

Marc by Marc Jacobs was a little bit more cutesy and perhaps fresher, but yet again, there was a lot of quirkiness. The mixture of different patterns really worked for me. It was more toned-down than the main Marc Jacobs collection, a little more wearable. Oh, and guess what? More of my first love: bows!

I was reading in an old Grazia magazine about how you could get Marc Jacobs pieces in a special range, where all items were under £50? There was a lovely t-shirt featured that was for just £15! Incredible prices. Yeh, I do love a bit of Marc.

First Look: NYFW S/S 2008

I'm getting really confused. New York Fashion Week has just started, with collections for next spring, and I'm still thinking about my autumn winter wardrobe. However, there have been loads and loads of new pictures for me to look at, so I thought I'd show you some of my favourites.

I liked the Karen Walker collection, especially the mixture of different patterns and also the floral print dresses. The dress in the middle reminded me a little of Russia, which seems to be an influence running through a couple of the collections so far. I loved the floppy hats and scarfs; ladylike and reminding me so much of summer!

Tailoring and the slouchy boyfriend blazer look is also staying next spring. The outfit in the middle from Jenni Kayne reminds me of looks sported by both Kirsten Dunst and Mary Kate Olsen recently. A simple grey t-shirt with a slouchy blazer can be really effective. I've noticed a lot of neutrals, perhaps a theme for next spring.

I really like some of the interesting shapes featured in the collections, particularly the Proenza Schouler coat above. I also like the sleeves on the Doo.Ri coat, which is again in a neutral colour. Apart from neutrals, yellow seems to be a popular colour. I absolutely love the colour of the Jason Wu dress.

There isn't really a theme running these three pictures; I just really liked them individually. The first picture I love because of the simplicity. Accessory-wise, she's carrying an oversized clutch, which is also something to watch this fall. The jacket from Badgley Mischka is a great shape, and compliments the shorts really well. I also really liked the jacket from Jenni Kayne; the detailing and the lightness of it makes it perfect for spring.

Of course, I had to mention the dresses. There have been many show stoppers so far and I had loads of trouble only picking three. I didn't include any Marchesa dresses, but I thought that there were a few Oscar-worthy dresses in their collection. (Marchesa was a collection that suggested a bit of a Russian influence). I was really impressed by Badgley Mischka where there were some gorgeous dresses. My favourite had to be the purple one; I love the shape. Bill Blass was an unusual show with the girls posing like mannequins, but it had some stunning dresses like the one above.

New Muse: Siri Tollerød

I discovered this beautiful Norwegian in Elle's "Meet the New Girls" feature by the guy behind Confessions of a Casting Director. She's just one of those girls that you cannot stop looking at. Siri has been compared to the likes of Gemma and Sasha, most probably because of her feline like features. She also has this naturalness about her.

Just a few days into New York Fashion Week, I've already spotted her down several catwalks, looking absolutely gorgeous. Just recently, she was also in the DKNY Jeans Fall 2007/8 campaign with Pete Wentz and on the catwalk for Prada Resort 2008. Siri has also starred in quite a few magazine editorials; I do believe that she has worked with Steven Meisel.

This girl is definitely one to watch for the future. Keep your eyes peeled for her in more catwalk shows this week.

Random Fact #1

I'm sure all of you are familiar with ugg boots. The celebrities such as Kate Hudson and Sienna Miller started this trend a few years back and then, like most trends, everyone was wearing them.

This random fact came from my Physics teacher in my lesson today. We were talking about good materials for lining the inside of winter boots. Anyway, I learnt something new about ugg boots. The reason that they are so expensive (Charley from Big Brother complaining about someone ruining her Uggs suddenly comes into mind), is that they are made from the skin of an animal called a ugg which are extremely rare in Australia. It is a sheep-like animal, but the difference is it has six legs.

Big Bows, you are beautiful

I've always had this thing for bows. I immediately want stuff just because it has a bow on it. Giorgio Armani, it seems, also had a thing for bows this season, with them appearing in both his Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani collections. I absolutely love the drama of the over-sized bow on the dress in the middle. Bows do look fantastic on evening gowns, a perfect example being the Marc Jacobs dress below.

Pussycat bow blouses seem to be re-appearing this season. The secretary look is not over yet it seems, with the pussycat bow blouse and pencil skirt being in the Betsey Johnson collection. Note that the skirt is also high-waisted, another big trend this season. I also loved the DKNY Fall/Winter collection, Irina above wearing a more floaty,very feminine, twist on the bow.

Susie at Style Bubble recently did a post as a Homage to Minerva Mouse, and these bags from Kate Spade remind me of just that. I adore these bow clutches; a real statement piece and loads of fun. I am keeping my eyes peeled for a clutch similar to pink one.

Tights Watch

I now have somewhat of an obsession with tights and am currently working on my rather pathetic collection. There are great number of trends in relation with tights, the most obvious probably being coloured opaques. I, myself, have a pink pair and a purple pair which I bought last October but have not ventured out in either pair yet. My mother claimed when I was trying on an outfit with the purple pair that it was too bright. I guess the safest option is wearing them with all black. However, colour is a key element this season, and the head-to-toe look in one colour is favourable. I'm not sure I'm quite brave enough to try that out.

Lace and patterned tights are also becoming more popular. Lace tights can be very pretty and I particularly like the white pair above. I've seen black tights with small polka dots which I would love to get my hands on. There are also tights with more colourful and bolder patterns that I have seen at shops like H&M.

Ribbed tights are also favourites of mine. They were sent down the catwalk at the likes of Missoni and John Galliano. I want to buy a grey pair of either ribbed tights or ribbed knee-high socks to wear this autumn and winter. I bought a black pair the other day, but unfortunately were the wrong size and three times too long! Hopefully I'll have better luck soon.

I couldn't not mention the Prada footless socks which seem to be an essential piece in this season's wardrobe. But they're £50 a pair - way over my budget, and especially for a pair of socks! I'll get the scissors out.

Trend Cycle: Plaid

For me, plaid has two main connotations: the first one being Scotland; the second being school. Scottish influences is the obvious inspiration for the tartan/plaid trend. I don't claim to know much about Scotland but if I think of Scotland I immediately think haggis, bagpipes and of course, kilts. School girl is another possible influence; a plaid skirt being part of a traditional school uniform. College-inspired looks are, as you know, a big trend for this autumn, so plaid will fit in very well.

We've seen plaid down the catwalk before, in many different shapes and with many different slants. The plaid at Alexander McQueen last year caused somewhat of a stir but I personally loved the plaid at Luella (it's pinned firmly to my inspirations board). This season, plaid was back on the catwalk, featuring in Jean Paul Gaultier's Celtic theme.

Plaid or tartan can add a quirky twist to an outfit. Another thing to put on my list of things to try this season.

Next Big Thing? Graphic Print Tees

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting really bored of slogan tees. Sure, I thought they were great at first. That was, until everywhere started selling them and everyone started wearing them.

There's got to be a new t-shirt trend soon, right? Drew Barrymore, known to be a 'jeans and t-shirt girl', was recently was spotted in a zebra print tee. And it looks like graphic print tees are the way to go forward. Urban Outfitters obviously agree, with a range of them in store at the moment. They have few t-shirts from the Worn By range, which recreates tees worn by icons in the past. I'm up for the graphic print tees; any way to get away from those slogans.

Hair @ Christian Lacroix

I had a hair cut yesterday, and I can say that change isn't always a good thing. I'm starting to wish I hadn't done anything...

The hair at Christian Lacroix, however, did delight me. It managed to look pretty, yet a little bit crazy at the same time. I just loved looking at the backstage photos. The hair clips were beautiful and added that extra touch to the hair. I want some! The feathered hair pieces did remind me of Victoria Beckham in 2003. Hmmmm...who does it better?

Colour Trend: Orange

I was in Topshop with my mum when she turned to me and asked: "Is orange going to be a big colour this season?", whilst pointing to a rail full of orange-coloured garments. Judging from the amount of orange that was sent down the catwalk in the fall/winter collections, I guess orange is a big colour this autumn, along with other "primary colours". I don't really know why people have been calling colours such as purple, orange, green and pink primary colours, when I know very well from my early school days that in fact red, blue and yellow are the real primary colours. Although I guess pink is just red mixed with white. What I do know is that block colours is set to be a huge trend this season.

Orange has never been a favourite colour of mine and my wardrobe contains very little of the citrus colour. Although, when picking sweets I always always go for the orange ones. The colour orange often strikes me as being a colour of fire, and I do like the rich orange tones that remind me so much of autumn. It is a colour of autumn leaves and compliments well the brown we find much of throughout autumn. There are also other lighter, citrus shades which could be experimented with. I could never do the whole top-to-toe look in orange with orange opaques. I love coloured tights, just not in orange. However, orange is a warm and bright colour; perfect for the autumn and winter heading for us.

I Spy: Braces

When I think "braces", I first think of the metal contraption fixed onto my teeth. Then thinking of the other sort, it conjures up images of middle aged men who still wear braces to hold their trousers up; particularly a past teacher of mine.

But braces have graced the catwalk this season in collections such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Sonia Rykiel, fitting in with last year's androgynous trend. Model of the moment Agyness Deyn seems to be a fan of braces as well; I like the contrast between the red braces and blue trousers. I also spotted a girl on Face Hunter wearing the same stripy skirt I bought in H&M last week. I'll be trying out this trend in the form of my new skirt soon - and I won't even be thinking of my old teacher!

Trend Report: College Girl

Everyone's talking about the Balenciaga collection, and I do really like the stripy blazers teamed with the ethnic scarves. The blazer seems to be one of the big pieces of the season, which starts a 'college girl' revival. Slouchy blazers, teamed with a shirt and jodhpurs featured in the Balenciaga collection but others such as Lacoste, DKNY and Luella provided their own twist on the trend. Rugby stripes were also in the mix at Lacoste, completing the preppy theme.

Key accessories include berets, scarves in college stripes, ribbed tights and stripy belts. With back-to-school season coming up, this is a great trend to try this autumn.
- Oh, and this summer I've been watching The OC boxset religiously. This trend reminded me of an episode in Season 2 where Marissa was supporting the college-girl look. The beret even had a cutesy green bow at the back.

Model Watch: Coco Rocha

This beautiful Canadian known as the "unconventional beauty" is the feature of this post. I adore her eyes and there is something extremely memorable about her face. She has an ability to master completely different looks and has an edgy appeal. She has been the face of advertising campaigns such as Balenciaga and has made countless appearances down the catwalk. Coco was one of the ten girls included in the US Vogue's "The World's Next Top Models" feature.

She was discovered at an Irish dance competition at the age of 14 but took a year to be convinced to start modeling. It was this dancing past that led her to opening and closing Jean-Paul Gaultier's show with an Irish dance. This girl is one of few models often seen to be smiling down the catwalk, something we could, and should, see more of in my opinion.

Another thing that makes me like her even more is the fact that she obviously has bags of personality and looks to keep two feet on the ground. Her personality shines through with her backstage shots, especially the many hilarious ones of her and best friend fellow model Behati Prinsloo. Coco loves to have fun, and is clearly a stunner. I look forward to seeing more of her in the future.

Beanie Hats

I've seen beanie hats around for a while now but whilst on a shopping trip in London yesterday, I noticed a pretty girl working in the changing rooms of Urban Outfitters. She was very well dressed and wearing a beanie, navy coloured I think. I didn't have the nerve to ask to take her picture but went through my inspiration folder, finding quite a few stylish girls wearing beanies. Celebrities such as Mischa Barton and Rachel Bilson have been wearing them for a while. They are available from shops such as Topshop, and of course Urban Outfitters.

I Spy: Leather Jackets

Countless number of models have been spotted in their leather jackets. Celebrities such as Keira Knightley, Kirsten Dunst and Mischa Barton have also been spotted in theirs. This wardrobe staple is so versatile, I think it's a must-have piece. By teaming a cropped leather jacket with an evening dress, it brings a younger and edgier twist. It looks great as part of a casual day-time outfit a la Agyness Deyn; I love the idea of wearing a grey hoody with a leather jacket and have seen quite a few put them together really well. Gemma Ward wears her leather jacket extremely well, looking both feminine and chic.

I'm currently looking for a cropped leather jacket. I've seen a few on the high street but nothing really in the style I want. The jackets I have seen so far are too biker chic for my liking rather than simply having a great cut. Also, I don't have much much to spend, but hopefully I'll find the perfect leather jacket soon.

Erin Fetherston

I first came across the designer Erin Fetherston after her collaboration with Target, which I quite liked. Then she appeared in my copy of this month's Elle magazine in the Closet Confidential feature. I fell in love (i use that phrase far too often) with the white petal skirt that Zooey Deschanel modeled in Lula magazine.

Fetherston is a 24 year old Californian living in Paris and trained at Parsons Paris. Her first collection was shown through a film starring her friend Kirsten Dunst. Her muses included Karen Elson and Zooey Deschanel, whose style I am a big fan of.

For her latest autumn/winter collection, Zooey Deschanel opened the show by sinigng "Dream a Little Dream of Me." The collection had a starry, out-of-this-world theme, featuring mainly the colours silver and white. The dresses were feminine and floaty with some having romantic puffed sleeves. She created some interesting silhouettes, for example the silver futuristic style coat above. I love the way that the dresses were teamed up with knee-high grey ribbed socks - something I need for my wardrobe.

After two collections (not including the one shown as a film), Fetherston's creations are day-dreamy, fresh and girly - she is a designer I'm definitely keeping my eye on.

New Muse: Clémence Poésy

Clémence Poésy is a young French actress who is quickly becoming recognised for her quirky style. She really does sum up the word 'chic'. Style in the Sunday Times named her and Lou Doillon the "Kate Moss and Sienna Miller of Paris". I admire the way she pulls together different shapes and love the layering in the outfit she wore to the Chanel Haute Couture show. The jackets she wears are key pieces in her outfits and I like the way she accessories her outfits, especially with the small bags. Skinny jeans are also a strong element. She is known to mix vintage and designer pieces, and is seen to wear a lot of Chanel. Her outfits on the red carpet are also to be admired, she pulls of the Balenciaga dresss she wore to the Cabourg festival with stunning effect.

Trend Report: Giant Knits

After putting this together yesterday, I noticed that Flying Saucer had beaten me to posting about this new trend! Giant knits seem to be appearing everywhere for this autumn/winter in the form of caridgans and jumpers, to hats and scarves. We have seen interesting shapes, such as from Sonia Rykiel; I love the burst of colour. Giles provided dramatic effects with his takes, including several giant scarves. I like the classic cardigan twist took by Stella McCartney; it seems an oversized cardigan is definitely the way to go. It's definitely more wearable than some of the other pieces. Maybe that hand knitted jumper from your grandmother this Christmas won't be so bad after all - just tell her to knit it... bigger.

I Love Milan

I'm off to Milan in a couple of days, and I need some last minute advice about where to shop, where to visit and general stuff like that. So this is a call-out to any of the Milanese or people familiar with Milan, to give me your tips and wisdom. I would like to know about flea markets, vintage stalls and all the important shops I should go. Also, anything in the particular that I should be buying? Any help would be much appreciated, so please drop a comment - asap!

Game Rules: Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to then report this on their own blog with their 7 things as well as these rules. They then need to tag 7 others and list their names on their blog. They are also asked to leave a comment for each of the tagged, letting them know they have been tagged and to read the blog.

I reckon that most people have been tagged before, so I'll tag anyone who comments, hasn't been tagged before and would like to be tagged : ] . I know that's not exactly the rules but that's the way I'm going to do it!

The OC. I make no secret of my love for this teenage drama. I love the characters, the clothes they wear and the background music. My favourite character was definitely Marissa (Mischa Barton) but to be honest, I love them all. I'm not ashamed to say that I have cried watching it, and was absolutely devastated when it ended. But there's always the box set, hey?
New Music. At the moment I'm loving Kate Nash ('Dancing at discos, eating cheese on toast') who's been compared to Lily Allen - I think she's better. My profile song at the moment is 'The Lips of Cleopatra' by Poppy And The Jezebels, thanks to the recommendation from Flying Saucer. I'm also really liking the likes of Hellogoodbye, Regina Spektor, Jack Penate, Ross Copperman and lots more! Although, I really need to get to a gig sometime.
Ballet Flats. I live in my ballet flats. Particularly my New Look grey leopard print ones. My uniform is a white tee, grey cardi, skinnies and ballet flats. Boring, but oh so easy! NB. Those aren't my ones, they belong to a randomer who's trying to sell them on Ebay.
Joe Cole. No, I don't aspire to be a footballer's wife. And no, I don't support Chelsea (Man United if you were wondering). I actually love watching football, not for the reason that most girls do (checking out guys such as Joe Cole) but because I truly find the game exciting and great to watch. I'm also not a girl who changes their allegiance to whatever team is winning at the time; I've supported Man United for as long as I remember. But I'm also not a complete fanatic and don't claim to be a number 1 fan or whatever. Enough rambling, my main point is that Joe Cole is gorgeous and someone I would love the meet.
Tearjerkers. I have cried at the end of films, namely Moulin Rouge and Titanic. It's difficult not to really. Oh, I cried watching ET, when he says 'ET go home'. I didn't want him to go home. But I was 5. Maybe 6.
Big Brother. I know it's supposedly a load of rubbish. And I know I should have better things to do this summer instead of watching BB. But it's just too addictive. At the moment, my favourites are actually The Twins but I absolutely cannot stand Charley.
Tink. My parents think I'm too old for Tinkerbell but she's definitely my favourite Disney character. I can't put my finger on why exactly, but I love her. The Girl Who Never Wanted To Grow Up. (Yes, I know that was Peter Pan the boy...never mind.)

Girl to Watch: Willa Holland

The name Willa Holland may not be familiar to you, but she is better know as Kaitlin in The OC, playing Mischa Barton's little sister. I, personally, love Mischa's style and it looks like Willa may be following in her footsteps. In The OC, Kaitlin was rather rebellious at times and in Grazia this week, she is called "The Rebellious One". She has been noticed for her sense of style during New York Fashion Week, particularly at the Betsey Johnson show. I love her outfit: edgy and unique.

Whilst watching The OC, I often admired the natural beauty of Willa. Just turned 16, I think she is one girl to be watched. She was first told to get into acting when after spending a day at Steven Spielberg's home, he told her mother: "You've got to put her in front of a camera!". After that, signed up with Ford Modeling Agency and later got into acting.

I don't think this is just another pretty face, I think she'll become a style icon in her own right. There's a cool kid on the block.
